Karuna wellbeing ltd, Health and wellbeing clinic Counselling services

Jan and Claire

As acredited pluralistic psychotherapists with the National counselling and psychotherapy society we bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to supporting individuals through their mental health journeys. Our approach is integrative and pluralistic where we draw upon various therapeutic models to tailor our practice to your unique needs. We use a collaborative and shared decision-making approach embracing diversity.

What does that mean for you as a client?

It means that unlike other therapists who may use one method of counselling we use the most suitable for you; as we are trained in all. It means our approach is a much more collaborative one where we can alter what we do within your therapy and really work with your unique situation and needs.

Yes you are! many people suffer from anxiety, for example, but only you have your self-beliefs, thoughts, feelings and behaviour. With a trained professional you can explore these in a non-judgemental environment. A pluralistic approach leads to greater client engagement and therapeutic outcomes.

Am I Unique?

Our Background

We have both worked in the public and private sector in education, business and childcare. We are qualified to post graduate level in addition to our Level 5 diploma in Pluralistic Therapeutic Counselling . We have worked with women and men at a number of charities in Liverpool for a few years now and have had overwhelmingly positive feedback. We are both mothers with large families and understand the demands placed on parents and the constant juggling act; we are experienced in helping you navigate through.

Why  have we chosen Karuna?

Karuna is a Sanskrit word with a deep meaning that goes beyond the typical English translation. It signifies a profound sense of concern for the well-being of others and a strong desire to alleviate their suffering. This philosophy resonated with us and our own values and aims. We want therapy to be accessible to all and have concessions available if needed.

Are we the right therapists for  you?

Why not book a complimentary 15 minutes initial consultation. This can be done face to face or by telephone . This is a great opportunity for you to talk to us and see if we are a good fit for you. Your journey towards healing and personal growth begins with us and we're here to help you every step of the way.
